Happy September! I’m curious to know how you’re experiencing the transition from summer to the new season of Fall, I hope you’re beginning to feel some ground as the September Equinox approaches (Monday, September 23rd). It might take a minute; be patient with yourself. It’s such a lovely time of year and what I’ve found is that when we flow with the cycles of nature and a new season, we feel more in rhythm and can find more balance in our lives.
In my last newsletter (Click Here) I shared a journal entry on the discomfort I personally experienced with the transition and imprints that still resided within. I shared how I moved through that time. I crossed over that threshold and I’m feeling lighter, enthusiastic and more inspired by beauty than ever!
Beauty is defined in many ways and has varied throughout time, multiple cultures and the vast different perceptions of the world. Beauty may lie in aesthetics, in outward appearances, in nature, art, and in many “things”. While I’m someone that values regards and appreciates aesthetics, I believe beauty is in the images and moments that inspire and represent the most distinct and remarkable attractiveness of our souls. Beauty is in the qualities, values, and energies within. It’s in the moments we feel free and authentic. It’s in the moments we feel confident and eminent. It’s in the moments we feel vital and alive.
According to the dictionary, the word beauty is defined as a “quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations, a meaningful design or pattern, or something else.” Socrates found beauty congruent with that to which was defined as the morally good, in short, he thought beauty coincided with the good.
So whether beauty is in a stunning sunrise, or sunset, the wondrous human form of a ballet dancer, or it’s the gentle compassionate nature that lies within a being, I offer you this opportunity to take some time to take stock of what beauty means to you. How do you surround yourself with beauty and allow that beauty to inspire you? What are some qualities or values that you identify with as beautiful?
And now circling back ..
When I addressed you at the top of this letter with “BEAUTIFUL?” I ask you, were you convinced? Take a moment and think about it, take a breath, pause and reflect on how you receive that you are “beautiful”. With my eternal quest on a self-study, I had the realization that one of my superpowers is an X-ray lens into viewing the beauty in all beings. All, yes all beings. I guide people to realizing their unique beauty. I help people shine a light on what makes them so spectacular, so unique, so they can feel empowered to live more authentically and share their gifts with the world.
With the natural ebbs and flow of life, we’ve been distanced from our unique beauty. Societal pressures, conditioning, the repetitive daily grind we’ve accustomed to, repeated patterning, stories we tell ourselves, non serving paradigms we live by, all in accumulation have distanced us from the unique beauty that lies within us. We can get back to who we truly are, our essence, but it takes some work. It takes intention, desire to feel more connected to who we truly are.
There’s a myriad of ways that I am guiding people back to their unique beauty, and empowering them to live in authenticity and share their magnificence with the world. Today I’m sharing this gift with you as a tool for you to connect inward ..to release some energy that’s distanced you from the beauty that lies right inside of you. You can use this as a 7 minute reset whenever you’re feeling disconnected from yourself or to release some energy that’s holding you back from peace- love-joy freedom-ease- and clarity.

After your Breathwork Practice, spend time journaling qualities that are most important to you.
What are some feelings you most want to feel? What are visuals you most feel drawn to that feel most connected to your style and evoke your personal unique being?
Create an inspiration board with things that inspire you. Choose visuals that evoke how you most want to feel and also visuals of things that are sources of inspiration. Choose textures -images of nature and feeling pictures. Use text for affirmations.
I’ve created many poster boards but lately mostly through Pinterest and Canva and then use it as a screensaver since I am on my computer so often. I love to listen to music that inspires me while doing so and sip a warm cup of green tea.
Have your inspiration or mood board visible to you… perhaps it’s a screensaver or it’s on your refrigerator or night table or desk at work.
Edit your Instagram page and make it your personal inspiration board.
