An approach I sometimes take to process is steppin An approach I sometimes take to process is stepping away from my story with space. When I can breathe out of my norm..out of my routined life ;the reality my fixed my mind knows to be true.
✨
Usually the outcome is that I'm able to see things with more clarity, and more understanding. I can hear a new tune, a different vibration.. I can grasp the lesson and bigger picture of this life I've been given.
✨
When we take time and breathe, we can find so many answers and space from our "story". We can heal the things in our lives that need resolution.
We can access a deeper part of ourselves that needs attention.
We can access our higher selves and step into higher ways of being.
We can find ease and peace with breathing love and acceptance into our heart space.
✨
I always love the mystery as I embark on my meditations; no matter what my experience may be before. The outcome is always just what is right for me at that moment and how I access Joy.

Proper breathing is essential for increasing and m Proper breathing is essential for increasing and maintaining energy. It’s also the moment-to-moment, day-to-day pathway to whole health. Your breath feeds your brain will cell-powering oxygen, and fuels your body’s circulation. Breathing deeply cleanses the internal system, supports mental clarity and emotional balance. Blood pressure can drop, and stress and anxiety can diminish, when you breathe fully and deeply. When you’re feeling fatigued, stressed out, the first thing you should check is your breathing.

Your breath is also one of the most basic connections we have to your environment. Every time you breathe in and out, you receive and give back to your natural surroundings. It’s a simple, profound connection—and learning to breathe well will enhance it.

A breath that is constricted and shallow may indicate a life constricted and not lived to its potential. Not breathing into the abdomen may lead to not having enough energy, not feeling as grounded or present as possible. Restrictions in the upper chest may indicate restrictions in expression of love of self or others. Holding onto the exhale is an indication of holding on to emotions. These are just a few of the correlations.

Opening and expanding the breathing patterns change the way life is lived. Be aware of your breath and when you catch yourself holding your breath, make a conscious effort to breathe fully and deeply. You will find you have more energy, peace and maybe even more joy.

E A R T H Day is celebrated on 4/22 each year. I E A R T H Day is celebrated on 4/22 each year. I celebrate the Earth each day by way of gratitude as I wake each morning.

I struggled for years with anxiety & PTSD and it was most activated when I traveled away from "home". (I lost my brother when I was traveling & was away from home which it caused me great trauma as I subconsciously associated travel with loss of a loved one).

My first therapist encouraged me to find reminders of "home" when I traveled; to try to recreate elements of my home wherever I traveled to.
My mom would try to sooth me with words like "let the air ..the water the sky bring you ease and comfort".
I then worked with a Neuro specialist that would teach me meditation and have me journey to a "safe place". That place was in nature with soft earth underneath my body where I could surrender and bathe under the elements of a warm sun and beautiful sounds of a fresh breeze.

In the later years of my life, after healing my PTSD & anxiety with neuroplasticity, I found that my home was indeed the earth. I felt freed from what once crippled me and I now feel most at home with nature, the earth, Gaia. I could go anywhere in the world and feel safe as long as I feel connected to the Earth.

If ever I feel tense with anxious moments, my first go to is the Breath ..and then it's taking a walk in nature. I breathe with the air outside to create a new vitality within me.. I notice something sprouting and am reminded of the newness a new moment can bring. I touch a rock or hug a tree and give gratitude for the Earth that has always been and always be the most unconditional love .. where I see G*D in magnificence and witness creation of life in every dimension.
Happy Earth day ..each and every day is the holiday to celebrate Earth.
